Who we are
Scentometry is an independent online perfume house. Scentometry is a brand operated by Naturaeti for General Trading - Sole Proprietorship L.L.C., business licence CN-2974530, issued by the Department of Economic Development, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean that company. By using this website or placing an order you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy, Shipping policy and Refund policy.

What we sell
Perfumes blended by hand to order in Abu Dhabi from our library of scents, at the strength the customer chooses. Where a scent is described as “inspired by” a named fragrance, that is a description of its character for your guidance only. Our products are not the originals. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any of the brands named, and those names remain the property of their owners.

Orders
You must be 18 or over, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to order. An order is accepted when payment is confirmed and we send an order confirmation. Because every bottle is made to order, an order cannot be cancelled or changed once blending has started, which is normally within a few hours of payment. Contact us straight away if you need to change an order. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a scent is unavailable or a price was shown in error; if we do, we will refund any payment in full.

Prices and payment
All prices are shown in UAE dirhams (AED) and are the full price of the product. The price depends on size; strength, bottle and cap do not change it. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken by card through our secure payment provider. We do not store your card details. We do not offer cash on delivery.

Delivery
We deliver within the United Arab Emirates only. Delivery times are estimates. Full details are in our Shipping policy.

Returns and refunds
Because bottles are blended to order, we do not accept returns, refunds or exchanges, except where an order arrives damaged, leaking or wrong. Those cases are dealt with as set out in our Refund policy. Refunds, where due, are made to the original payment method.

Concentration and safe use
Our perfumes are blended in perfumer’s alcohol at the fragrance concentration you choose: Extrait (40 percent), Parfum (30 percent) or Eau de Parfum (20 percent). Discovery set vials are made at 40 percent. They are for external use on skin or clothing only. They are flammable: keep away from heat, flame and children. Perfume can mark delicate fabrics, so test first. Stop use if irritation occurs. Ingredient and allergen information for any scent is available on request.

Your blends
A blend you create is saved under a code, with its strength, so you can reorder it. We may add popular blends to our menu; if we do, we will ask you first and credit you by first name if you agree.

Our content
The Scentometry name, logo, scent names, text and images on this site belong to us or our licensors and may not be copied or used commercially without our written permission. All other brand names on this site belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe the character of a scent.

Liability
Our liability for any order is limited to the price paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under UAE consumer protection law.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and the courts of Abu Dhabi have jurisdiction over any dispute.

Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time of your order is the one that applies to it.
